What I’m up to now
Since May of 2022, I have been a designer for Coursera, one of the largest online learning platforms in the world, with 124 million registered learners.
Every day, I create print and digital assets following strict processes and brand guidelines that are part of million dollar digital marketing campaigns. I present my work and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe.
I work in Figma and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to achieve the following designs.
2024 Q3 Global Promotional Campaign
Presented concepts and created multi-channel assets for several regions in various languages
Paid media design
Launched new designs for testing in 2024
Top performing social media posts
Created engaging assets around popular topics such as GenAI and ChatGPT
Since 2023, I have created branding work for American Family Group Insurance which oversees popular insurance groups like American Family Insurance, The General and others.
I produced print pieces, social media assets and other branding materials in both English and Spanish.
In 2023, I took on private freelance branding projects and designed three fresh new looks for small businesses across the United States.
It was an exciting challenge to take full ownership of the entire process from building client relationships, researching competitors, understanding target audiences and brand goals, and designing to teaching my clients how to use their brand assets on their own through detailed implementation guides.
The New Nine is a music blog and podcast based out of Los Angeles.
The Sweet Arrival offers parenting classes and concierge services to new parents in north Texas.
S&K is a well-established pool services company based out of Chicago.
From 2019 to 2022, I worked for CivicBrand, a remote branding agency that focuses on brand solutions for cities and tourism organizations. I designed cohesive brand identities that capture the unique essence of cities, integrating cultural, historical, and economic elements. I also traveled frequently to various cities for on-site research, client meetings, and presentations.

My journey as a designer began in high school where I found a passion for traditional art. I then attended Texas A&M University, where I acquired a solid foundation in design principles that continues to guide my work today.
While I love to be creative and find a lot of fulfillment in design, my motivation comes from my two wonderful children, Sutton and Barrett.
